1940's Sheaffer's Tuckaway model in cocoa/saddle brown. These
are interesting pens. On the short side, but the same diameter as
a full size Sheaffer's Triumph. This one measures 4 7/16 inches
or 11.4 cm capped. The only damage is a 2 to 3 mm flat spot next
to the rounded part at the top of the cap. The cap is stainless
steel with gold filled trim. The clips on these are very short, but
spring loaded and grasp a pocket very securely. As you can see in
the picture, the filling unit is an internal plunger type, sometimes
refered to a "rod filler". The plunger is only partially extended in
the picture. The barrel imprint is sharp and deep. The Triumph
nib is an Extra Fine. The overall condition is Very Good +.
